Washing: "DEVAL" Utensils should be washed with soap water or a detergent. A sponge should be used for rubbing and a wooden plank should be used for support to avoid rubbing utensils on hard floor while washing. Pure Silver is soft and can be rubbed away by use of abrasives. Therefore, abrasives should be strictly avoided in washing or polishing these utensils.

Important: These Utensils can be safely washed in a Dish Washer. Just like pure silver articles, "DEVAL" utensils may get tarnished due to action of weather. The tarnish layer, however, can be easily removed by applying any silver polish. When "DEVAL" utensils are not used daily they should be dried completely (wipe them with dry soft cloth and keep them exposed for an hour or so) and should be stored in plastic bags supplied. This will minimize exposure to atmosphere and consequent tarnishing.
